If you just need a small site, and don't expect the content of your site to change much, then a content management system may not be necessary - this is often the cheapest and simplest option for a relatively static small website.

Prices start from £200 for a 5-page static site, plus hosting from £50 per year.

Dynamic website (from £400)

If the content of your site will need regular updating, then you will probably want to use a content management system to directly manage and update your own content.

The extra technical complexity, maintenance and support requirements of a content management system does add some extra cost, but this is often more than offset by the time and money saved by freely and instantly updating your own content any time you want.

Prices start from £400 for a dynamic site, plus hosting from £95 per year - the price includes some initial guidance and support to get started using the Content Management System.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics enables you to view how many visitors are visiting your site, where they come from, how they navigate your site, and much more.

For a one-off fee of £50, I can help you set up a Google Analytics account, link it to the your website, and help you get started with using and interpreting the Analytics.

Search Engine Optimisation

There are many ways in which a website can improve its position in search engine results, and much of this revolves around having high quality, up-to-date and relevant content on your website.

The Internet has an abundance of free advice on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), and I can provide some initial free SEO tips, with additional SEO services available if required.
